The Lotus-Renault driver suffered a serious accident during a race this Sunday's rally "Ronde di Andora" in northern Italy. Robert Kubica suffered multiple injuries and may even risk losing his right hand.
The boy, aged 26, was driving a Skoda Fabia who left the road at high speed and hit the wall of a church, having been incarcerated. Rescuers only managed to get him out of the car about 90 minutes later, but the pilot abandoned the local consciousness.
